This is an exceptional work of art and a very rare opportunity to own a piece of art history.  A magma on canvas from the estate of Vincent Melzac, completed in 1961, this represents a transitional period for Mehring.  This painting oozes the significance of its influence.  The chevron is a Ken Noland signature... but who did it first??  This painting has never been exhibited and remained stored in the Melzac estate for most of its life.  Yet it remains as fresh as anything painted today.
